Policies

PLEASE WAIT FOR US TO CALL YOU
Although your provided tracking number may say that your firearm transfer has arrived, please allow us time to check in the firearm in accordance with federal regulations before we call you. We understand that you are eager to pick up your firearm, but we get multiple transfers each day and must go through the same thorough check in process for each transfer. We assure you that you WILL be contacted as quickly as possible, so we kindly ask you to wait for a call from us.
STORAGE OF TRANSFERS

Because we have limited vault space, we allow customers 2 weeks from date of call or voicemail, to pick-up their transfer. We do allow longer hold times on case by case basis. Any longer times, not agreed upon, will require a $25 a week storage fee. If after twenty-eight (28) days from C&S contacting you (or if no contact with the customer is established), and you have failed to pick up your firearm, we will sell your firearm(s) to recoup storage fees.

If the customer receives a “Deny” response from NICS or is unable to take possession of the firearm for any reason, it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange return to the original seller. If arrangements are not made within 90 days, the firearm will become property of C&S Shooting Sports.

Additional Information

Transferees ages 18 – 20
As a result of the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) of 2022, the NICS Section has implemented an enhanced background check process for persons between the ages of 18-20. Due to this federal law, all background checks for transferees between 18 and 20 years old will automatically be delayed. As with any C&S transfers, we will not transfer the firearm until we are given approval from the FBI NICS division.
