NFA Purchases and Transfers

The process for purchasing an NFA item is a little more involved than a normal firearm purchase, but our retail team is very experienced with navigating the ins and outs of NFA and are happy to help. We can help answer any Form 4 or Form 1 questions that you may have.

NFA item include suppressors (silencers), Short Barrel Rifles (SBRs), Short Barrel Shotguns (SBSs), and Any Other Weapons (AOWs). The transfer of any of these items requires a Form 4 to be submitted and a $200 tax to be paid. Current E-Form 4 wait times are around 8 months.

C&S sells many brands of suppressors including Rugged Suppressors, SilencerCo, Dead Air, Sig Sauer, and Surefire. We also sell SBR’s and SBS’s. If we do not have NFA item that you would like in stock, we can order it. Normal order times for available items take anywhere from 3-4 weeks to arrive in store. We can also accept NFA transfers from other SOT Licensee’s.

However you choose to purchase your new NFA item, C&S is happy to help you with filing your E-Form 4. Our services include helping fill out the E-Form 4 in it’s entirety, taking and submitting your photograph, and fingerprinting and submitting fingerprints once the E-Form has been submitted. Purchasing your NFA item from C&S has its benefits! We offer layaway on all suppressors, SBR’s and SBS’s purchased in our store. You can make payments while you wait for your Form to be approved.
